To try: Pastels and Black

I'm not usually one that is a fan of the pastel colors, I much prefer brights, but when I see pastels paired with black and other neutrals I quite like. Plus, I think wearing pastels with black is a great idea in the Winter or as a way to transition into Spring.

I know I posted mint green jeans a couple of weeks ago, but what can I say, I've fallen for the color and love it paired with this reddish orange (which happens to be pantone's color of the year). Plus, this skirt is on sale for less than $30 making it the find of the week (or month). P.S. what do you think of the bug belt? would you wear a bug on your belt?

Here is my attempt at combining winter and spring. I'm sticking with sweaters, closed toe shoes, and wool because it's still cold outside (in MN that is), but I'm dying to put on some pastels, for pastels are going to make a huge appearance this spring (plus these minty green jeans are so amazing who says you have to wait to wear them)?
