Sadly summer is more than halfway over, and I can't help but start thinking of ways to transition my summer pieces into fall. I like pieces that I can layer and wear year round. I'm loving this simple shirtdress from Gap, plus I can think of a million different ways to style it.

Florals are a big trend this spring. Finding the right floral that doesn't look dated can be a challenge, but I'm loving this flowy floral top from Ruche. It's perfect with a blazer and jeans for spring or paired with a bright skirt and sandals for summer.

The pattern on this tile-quilted skirt from Anthropologie is quite amazing (plus it recently went on sale and is pretty much pantone's color of the year). Have I thought of enough reasons why it's a good purchase? Here are a couple of possibilities for those freezing cold temps and then when it starts to warm up a bit.
