"In a Flash" First Birthday Party

We celebrated Will's first birthday a couple of weeks ago and I wanted to share some of the photos from his party. The theme was "one year in a flash" because it really has gone by so fast.

The idea came from a party seen here and I got the photo props from Oh Happy Day. They were definitely a hit. We originally planned to be outside, but it ended up being so cold and windy, we mostly stayed indoors. A big thanks to my sister Katie for taking pictures and making the cake pops, my mom for letting us use her house and to everyone else who helped out. It was a good time.

the invite:
the birthday boy (and his crazy parents):

I also prepared cards and asked everyone to write Will a note he can read on his 18th birthday.

What a cute party Alison!! Love the idea - just might have to use that when Alyssa turns one.

I LOVE the idea of the letters- I did the same thing. I hope it is something they cherish!
