Spring 2015 Collection

I'm excited to announce my Spring 2015 collection of pillows! Along with my own custom designs, I have also included found and vintage textiles to the shop in limited editions and will be adding new items here and there. This collection is by far my favorite and was inspired by worldly travels and my ever growing collection of vintage ethnic fabrics. Because I'm a huge fan of pattern mixing, all of the designs are in the same color palette so they can be mixed and matched.

See and shop the whole collection here.

Summer collection sneak peek

I've been finishing up a few new summer prints that will be hitting the shop in the next few weeks. Here's a little sneak peek. Picking colors is my favorite part of designing, however it can also be the most difficult part as well. Can't wait to show you more in the next few weeks!

What I've been up to

You may have noticed fewer posts here the past couple of weeks and that's because I've been busy working on a new business. I'm in the works of setting up a shop with some of my designs. It's something I've always wanted to do and after reading Joy's The Art of Being a Goal-Getter and a little motivation from family and friends, I decided to go for it. I can't wait to share more with you in the next couple of weeks. Stay tuned. I've also got some new blog posts coming up including some new DIY projects.

Textile Design

I have been busy working on some new projects and am excited to share one of them with you. After taking the pattern design class from Nicole's Classes I became hooked on designing patterns and love the fact I can use Spoonflower to print them on fabric.

I plan on sharing a few of my designs here on the blog. This was one I did for a watercolor competition on Spoonflower. The pattern was selected as a semi-finalist and will be available to purchase on Spoonflower soon along with some other designs I'm currently working on.

...and above is the inspiration for this pattern. As someone that can't get enough of nail polish, I have quite the collection.

p.s. If you use Spoonflower, let me know, I would love to connect.
