Last week I went with a girlfriend to see the new Hunger Games movie
Catching Fire. Because the movie had just come it, it was crazy busy and we were lucky to get two seats together. We were laughing because the theater was mostly filled with high school kids and us. It got me thinking though, have you ever gone to a movie alone? You don't talk during the movie so there isn't much time to catch up with a friend if you go to a movie together. The week before I had Will I saw four movies in the theater and one I went to by myself. It felt a little weird being there by myself, and while I do like to go with other people, it was also nice to just slip in, see it and then leave.
Would you or have you ever gone to a movie alone?
p.s. The costumes and makeup blew me away in Catching Fire. So crazy good.

Oh I have been by myself and I thing is totally fine! I also have lunch by myself ;)
YES. I love love loved Katniss' jumpsuit in that first image you posed. I remembered thinking to myself, "I'd wear that." Haha.
I'm looking forward to watch "Catching Fire"! Probably not alone, though. I have been to the movies by myself, two or three times, I guess. But I enjoyed it a lot. The last time I watched "Anna Karenina" and it was heaven to me, but you have to be in the mood.
When I worked 2 jobs, I used to go to movies by myself ALL the time in between shifts. Honestly, I kind of like it. A lot. Like you said, you don't talk in a movie, so it's not like you need someone there, and it is also nice not to have anyone whispering to you or giving spoilers!
I still love going to the movies w/ my friends, don't get me wrong. But sometimes it's a nice place to get a little alone downtime. ;)
Movies are a total mental break for me, so going to the movies alone is fine. I'm past the days of making out with my boyfriend in public, anyways . . . :)
I'm not sure I've actually gone alone, but I rent and watch movies alone all the time. There are plenty of things I want to watch that either my husband or the kids could care less about....and vice versa.
