We celebrated Will's first birthday a couple of weeks ago and I wanted to share some of the photos from his party. The theme was "one year in a flash" because it really has gone by so fast.
The idea came from a party seen here and I got the photo props from Oh Happy Day. They were definitely a hit. We originally planned to be outside, but it ended up being so cold and windy, we mostly stayed indoors. A big thanks to my sister Katie for taking pictures and making the cake pops, my mom for letting us use her house and to everyone else who helped out. It was a good time.
the invite:
the birthday boy (and his crazy parents):
my darling sis-in-law (who also made the cupcakes) and her husband
Brandon with his BFF Tyson
my sister (and photographer) with her husband
the cupcakes (filled with cream cheese goodness)
chocolate dipped oreos
the treat bags filled with bouncy balls (Will's favorite), sill bandz, slinkys, and mini m&m's
the straws and treat bags from The Party Fairy
peachies and sour peaches (I think I got these more for me rather than for the party)
the shades
the big balloons from Party City (and are still floating according to my mom)
I also prepared cards and asked everyone to write Will a note he can read on his 18th birthday.

Nice job honey. Put me to shame as a parent.
Wow Ali! You should honestly become a party planner. It looks like it was a blast!
What a cute party Alison!! Love the idea - just might have to use that when Alyssa turns one.
